Yesterday’s post regarding how we’ll be dealing with spoilers from the new episodes has now been up for 24 hours and is closed. The collective decision is:

Fuck Yeah Martin Freeman will be posting material containing plot spoilers.

What this means for you:

1. There will be plot spoilers on Fuck Yeah Martin Freeman so please be aware! Tumblr saviour does not work on an actual blog, so if you’re aiming to remain spoiler-free please don’t go wandering onto Fuckyeahmartinfreeman.tumblr.com only to get a face full of spoilers! Obviously it’s very relative to what spoilers do and don’t have to do with Martin Freeman’s presence from scene to scene (we won’t just be posting random spoilers, it will always be Martin-centred material!) but just be aware spoilers will be going ahead.
2. All new material, including that with and without plot spoilers, will be tagged with both #sherlockbbcspoilers and #spoilers. This way you have the opportunity to enter both these tags into Tumblr Saviour and avoid the lot! If you have any questions about Tumblr Saviour please feel free to ask and we’ll help as we can or if you’re brand new just, again, drop us an ask and we’ll create a ‘How To’ post if need be.
3. As this is not a personal blog there will be no live blogging and no live reaction posts therefore all spoilers will be posted after the episode has finished airing. This may seem a little straightforward but I know some people were concerned about time delays and such so I just wanted to make it definitively clear that we will not post spoilers during the episode!

There’s been a lot of talk lately about spoilers surrounding the second series of Sherlock so I thought I would just let you all know where we stand on this and how Fuckyeahmartinfreeman will be dealing with spoilers:

• As a base rule I will keep plot spoilers off the blog because nobody wants to be ruined like that! 
• However, set photos and filming photos that do not clash with the rule for plot spoilers will be appearing on the blog.
• In addition to that from now on any new information surrounding the filming, casting and plot of the second series of Sherlock will be tagged with the organized spoiler tag #sherlockbbcspoilers
• This is simply so everyone who wants to remain completely free of information can enter that tag into Tumblr Saviour and block those posts from their dashboard.

For now this is the best possible solution I can think of to keep the majority of people happy and give everyone the option to choose either way, so I hope it works for everyone! If you have any questions or further suggestions feel free to let me know.
